I've been reading (or should I say: listening to) the unabridged Audio Book for Watership down, narrated by Ralph Cosham. I purchased it from iTunes a couple of weeks back.
I've been thoroughly enjoying it. On my walk to work, on the train, at home, on long trips in the car, you name it! The reader does a fantastic job of story, characters and expressions, and does even Keehar's voice really well!
Interestingly enough, after the first couple of chapters I started thinking I recognised the voice of the reader. So I looked him up and it turns out he did some of the primary voices in one of my favourite games: Oblivion!
Anyway, just thought I would share that the Audio Book is fantastic and anybody who is a fan of WD should seriously consider buying it. From what I remember it was $35.99 AUD, and is (as I mentioned) completely unabridged. The whole thing is two discs and is over 16 hours of audio. As usual, with most things I hold dear and support I would discourage anybody from downloading an illegal copy of the material as I am passionate about supporting things that I love, and those who created them. And everybody here should feel the same way.
Anyway, hope everybody is well!

I'm so glad to hear that you're enjoying the audiobook so much. 16 hours is quite long, but I think for the person who has time (like you said, on buses and trains etc) it can be a good thing to pass the time with. Although I guess you could just read the book, I find that sometimes reading in cars or on buses can give me headaches and make me feel a little ill which is where audiobooks are good I guess, plus you can listen to the book while washing dishes, sweeping the floors, gardening etc. Those 16 hours would also be great for my international flights between Aus and the U.S, plenty of time to kill on those 13 hour flights.
