Woo, I haven't done this kind of thing in ages... haven't registered on any forums in a long time, or typed up introduction posts.
Anyways, I saw a link to a Watership Down forum and I thought I'd wanna join for fun. Watership Down is my favourite book ever, there's no question about it. Some people will complain that the movie is way too brutal and others will complain that the TV series is way too childish, but I really love both the movie and the series. And I like "Tales from Watership Down" as well, even if it might have a different feeling to the original book. So yeah, I love everything Watership Down.
I only first saw the movie in my teens and so I didn't get traumatised by it like lots of folks did, and I read the book only afterwards (which enhanced the movie and made me happily surprised when it comes to certain side characters and their fates). Then it was years and years later that I somewhat reluctantly decided to give the TV series a chance, and it took me a while to warm up to it, but I did eventually grow to enjoy it as a different take on the story.
I've done a bunch of bunny fan art and still draw that stuff every now and then whenever I get in the mood. Recently I've been having that mood and my attempts to draw an unrelated short comic keep distracted when I start drawing bunny ears everywhere :p Anyways, all the Watership Down related stuff that I've posted online is available over here: tldr-stuff.livejournal.com/10155.html
Let's see, what else to tell... can't think of much more. Mostly, I'm just hoping to meet other bunny fans and talk bunnies with them :)
