Unfortunately, it's not new art.. but I thought I'd get the ball rolling in here anyway, I still quite like both the pieces even if they are from a few years ago. It really does highlight to me though just how long it has been since I did some WD fan-art. I must do some more... The first is Hazel-rah and Lord Frith, the second is a scene from Tales from Watership Down and is from the story of The Fox in the Water

I saw these both on DA... loved them. You have quite a talent, so keep it up and I will of course continue to admire not only the skill but the subject material!

More arts! Basic stuff, but I've been dying to draw something new since I got this forum up, a quick one of Hazel

And some character sketches that I did today. I used a couple of photo refs for Bigwig, Fiver and Blackberry. In terms of design, I like how Bigwig and Fiver came out best In regards to Blackberry's markings. I quite like the design used in the movie, however the book says he simply has black-tipped ears, so that's what I gave him.

Thank you so much. Here is something rough I sketched up today. I'm really interested in either cleaning it up a bit and extending it, or working on another short animation with some rabbits. Finally something I haven't posted to DA as well, didn't feel it was quite up to scratch for that

OH WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW! WOW.... You have no idea how awesome this is to me. And not only becuase it is.. well... awesome! But I will also tell you why it's more awesome! (calming down in 3... 2... 1...) Phew, ok so... I work for a film/multimedia company. Actually I own it, and recently changed my brand and logo for my movies, which is now called "Rabbit Run Pictures". For the company logo (animated intro like you see for film companies at the beginning of movies) I was hoping to do an animation of a rabbit at silflay, then periscoping, hopping and running and then stopping mid-pose in a run, and that would make up the logo. The art and style of the animation (or rabbit) would be almost EXACTLY like the one you did (line art on old paper). I remember saying to myself "well I don't have the talent or know anybody who can do this for me", and conceded to the fact that I would not get my intro made. Until I saw this!!!! So this leads me to my next question: would you be willing to do the animation/drawing of my film company's animated intro for me? I would be willing to pay you if you need to be compensated for your time. If you would like to see an example of my attempt at making this intro (to get the style I was after), I will direct you to this video I made: www.youtube.com/watch?v=PPT6_UYHdWY...imagine that instead of the images flickering like that do in that intro, it's an animated rabbit like the one you did, and then the final pose in that video is the final pose the rabbit in the animation freezes on. I also love the rough style where the line art hitters around a bit (like you've done). Just in case you are wondering about that video. Being a movie lover and filmmaker, for the invitations to mine and my fiance's engagement party, we decided to make a movie trailer. You might enjoy it. It starts of pretty lovey dovey but then turns into an all out actionfest with explosions, guns and aliens. Anyway, I am all excited now! Let me know your thoughts! Thank you!

Wow, I'm so happy you like it. I'm honestly overwhelmed by your response. I'm not sure I could live up to your expectations, but I'm certainly willing to work with you on coming up with something. I'm currently watching Kung Fu Panda so didn't watch all of your video (but will certainly watch it all later!) But I did watch it to see what kind of style you meant. I really like your idea So would be more than happy to pursue it. It will be very different from anything I've tried before though, as I will have to do it on a larger scale which will make it more challenging, but I'm willing to give it a go. Thanks again so much for your compliments Edit: Just watched the whole vid, it's fantastic! Looks like you had great fun with it, you did an amazing job.

Oh wow, thank you so much! I would very much like for you to do the drawing so I am really really happy you can! Thanks for watching the video too! Glad you enjoyed it! I would like to get in touch and talk about the animation in detail with you, if you don't mind, as I am sure if we use the boards I will just fill up pages with my ramblings. Perhaps via email? Thank you so much again, I am so happy!

Have a bunny! "Rabbit Jungle" Never lose sight of where you're going, because it's easy to lose your way.
