Seeing as how some of us have bunnies, or have previously owned a bunny, I was wondering what toys your rabbits like. If they have favourites etc or if there are any toys you made yourself, because rabbit specific toys aren't all that common in pet stores.
My rabbit Hazel-rah used to have a few favourites. He loved his tunnel, excuse the poor image, but it's this exact one here: ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41lA0JKH%2BVL._SS500_.jpg He would race through the length of it, turn around and race back through, only to jump out of the hole at middle before quickly jumping back in again. Was great fun to watch.
I also had a treat ball for him that I would cut up little bits of carrot for and put them inside and he would then spend the next half hour rolling it around to get every last bit. baerana.com/treatball1.jpg
He also used to like his pinecone, he wouldn't really chew on it, he just loved picking it up and throwing it around (bunnies seem to love that), he used to do that with his empty food bowl too. Before I fed him in the morning, you could hear him picking it up and throwing it around his hutch, probably to make sure I knew he was hungry and hadn't been fed yet Sometimes I would wind bits of food through the pinecone and he would spend some time getting them out.
Otherwise, I used to stuff toilet rolls with bits of hay, that way he could toss it around and eat from it. He wasn't much of a shredder, cardboard always stayed in tact. The newspaper I lined his hutch with didn't get much attention either. Though I've heard some bunnies absolutely love shredding books, and previous editions of the yellow pages are good because of the type of dye they use.
