Hello and welcome,

If you have come across this board please make yourself feel at home. The board has just been built and is therefore still under construction. You will see a few changes around the place as new forums are still to be added along with a few skin/theme changes and the additions of more smilies.

So I'm basically still feeling things out and making changes, which makes your patience and support much appreciated.

Update 25/5: I spent some time today making some more smilies for the board and adding them. In addition to that, I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to add extra smilies and how to view them when you're replying. So there's now a 'view all smilies' option for both quick and advanced reply with lots to choose from and more on the way soon! It's relatively time consuming.

Don't mind me, I'm just testing some features that I'm attempting to change Mainly the new post/no new post icons... it's been bugging me for so long. I think I might use different images for the different themes too. Well, time to see if it's worked...

edit: Well, nevermind... of course it's not going to show my new post as being un-read to me But at least the no new post ones work...

Thanks dragonstar, I appreciate it. I updated our key words and forum description today, so hopefully it aids us somewhat in terms of search results. And I've just been watching some youtube vids on how to make animated gifs and made up one with the screencaps I already had. Might look at doing some more if people are interested.

There seems to be a bit of an issue when modifying posts, it adds extra image tags for the smilies and then they don't work. So if you are using smilies and you edit your post, you have to get rid the IMG tags surrounding the image before saving the changes to your post.

Some good news: It seems that the keywords and forum description have finally kicked in in relation to google search results. As where I couldn't find us within 20 pages of search results before, we're now on page 4 of my results!

Hey, I just searched us in Google and came accross this: support.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=fanforums&action=display&thread=390860 ...obviously a notice you have put forward to ProBoards in general notifying them of us. Good idea, although I can't seem to find a link to this forum there? Should there be?

Yes, I certainly hope so.

I was using proboards for some coding help and realised they had a section to advertise your board, so I thought it might be a good idea. The image itself is the link for the forum so you can click on that. Though perhaps I'll add a link underneath as well if people don't realise that.

I changed the darker green colour on the 'Watership Down' theme to a paler green, the darker green seemed too jarring and bright. This one should be easier on the eyes for anyone who's using it.

I also finally got rid of that irritating white box around the 'new' and 'no new' post images on the front page for the default theme.
